Dental Implants

Saving your natural tooth should always be your first choice when dental care is needed. Nothing, not even the most advanced implants or bridges, can truly replace your natural tooth.

  • If your dentist recommends extracting your tooth, ask us if we can help save it with root canal treatment. This endodontic treatment removes the injured pulp (soft inner tissue) of your tooth and fills and seals the space.
  • Your tooth is then restored and can function just like any other tooth for the rest of your life, ensuring comfortable chewing and a natural appearance.
  • Dr Ganik can often save the most severely injured teeth.

Do everything possible to save your teeth before considering extraction. Nothing is as good as your natural tooth! If you have tooth pain or need a root canal, contact our office.

If an endodontic procedure can’t save your tooth, often, the only alternative is extraction. Because missing teeth can make you self-conscious, affect your ability to bite and chew, cause other healthy teeth to shift and have a negative impact on your overall health, you should consider a dental implant to replace the extracted tooth.

Research has proven that endodontic treatment and dental implants are equally successful. Therefore, it makes sense to start by trying to save your natural tooth—nothing looks, feels or functions like it. Ultimately, your treatment decision should be based on a plan you have discussed with your dental team and that you agree is best for your overall health.
